JLSFRC's Importance of Privacy
Head Back Home ~ About ~ JLSFRC’s Importance of Privacy
Asking for assistance can be hard. Our Resource Center respects your privacy and follows multiple protocols to ensure the confidentiality of the people we serve. Our staff receive regular training about confidentiality practices and work hard to ensure that you feel comfortable knowing your privacy is protected. Our confidentiality practices include:
- All JLSFRC staff, board members and volunteers must sign a confidentiality agreement prior to working or volunteering for the center
- As a human services agency we complete annual HIPAA training and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Our confidentiality process also requires that we obtain a formal Release of Information (ROI) form from JLSFRC clients before sharing any information about them with another agency, provider or individual
