JLSFRC offers bill assistance to eligible households for their home heating, energy, water, and sewer bills. Households must be income-eligible to receive assistance. Some programs do not require a balance owing to qualify. Depending on the time of year, we may help with electricity, natural gas, propane, heating oil, wood, water, and sewer bills. Project Pal
If you are an OPALCO member, you may also be eligible for additional assistance with your electric heating bill, directly through OPALCO’s Project Pal program. The program is open each cold weather season from November – April.

Our federally funded Weatherization Program for low-income households can provide a weatherization assessment and free improvements to your home that will help increase home energy efficiency and reduce energy costs while ensuring health and safety.
