Give Where You Live: Supporting San Juan Islanders This Season
At the Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center, we’re reminded every day of what makes this island so special — our people. The neighbors who show up for each other, lend a helping hand, and make sure no one faces life’s challenges alone.
This holiday season, we’re asking you to Give Where You Live — because when you give to the Family Resource Center, every dollar stays right here on San Juan Island, helping your friends, neighbors, and community thrive.
Your support fuels essential programs that make daily life more secure, healthy, and hopeful for more than 2,800 islanders each year. That means housing assistance for families in crisis, mental health counseling for those in need, childcare for working parents, and recovery support that helps people rebuild their lives.
It truly takes a village — and ours is full of heart.
We’re setting a goal to raise funds that will carry our mission into the new year — ensuring that every islander has access to food, housing, healthcare, and connection.
If you’re able, please consider making a donation today. Your gift helps keep our programs strong and our community resilient.
