Non-Monetary Donations

While a monetary donation might seem like the most obvious way to support JLSFRC services and programs, there are a variety of ways to support your community.

Household Essentials

New families often face significant expenses in terms of cleaning and hygiene supplies. If you have a child under 5 years old and are eligible for WIC, consider joining our Household Essentials Program. Find out more about the monthly items you can receive for free by clicking here. New Day Recovery Café Meals

New Day Recovery Café serves individuals affected by trauma, offering support for housing insecurity, family conflicts, substance use disorders, and mental health challenges. With the Recovery Café Model, we foster healthy relationships, loving accountability, and empower members to achieve and sustain recovery, minimize relapse, and reach their full potential. Our community promotes a sense of belonging, personal growth, and a life filled with meaningful connections and service. We acknowledge that recovery is integral to healing and personal development. Providing a meal via our Meal Train sign up is a generous way to support this program.

Volunteering

The Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center provides meaningful volunteer opportunities through many of our youth and family support programs. We are always interested in recruiting new volunteers.

All opportunities help in furthering the mission of the Family Support Center: mentoring children, strengthening families, and helping islanders. Please contact us for more information at (360) 378-5246.
